Question Storming

Mechanism. Generates questions instead of answers, without stopping to answer any of them. Answers close search; questions branch it. Suspending the answering reflex is the entire discipline.

Procedure. Fixed time. Produce questions only — no statements, no answers, no discussion. Do not judge. Then classify each as open or closed, convert several across the boundary in each direction, and prioritize three.

Applies to. The start of any inquiry where the framing is not yet fixed. Also diagnostic: the questions a group cannot generate mark its blind region.

Limitations. Groups drift into rhetorical questions, which are statements. Enforce the interrogative form syntactically.
